The horizontal is made of SAN plastic which is 100% BPA and PVC free, as well as phthalate free. There may be a slight off-taste of plastic on first filling, as it is brand new plastic. However, you can be sure that this taste does not come from the material that releases plastic to the water. Still, we recommend rinsing the bottle thoroughly with warm water before first use.

Yes! We recommend that the bottle max. fill 2/3 - this prevents damage to the water bottle.

This is exactly like ice cubes. It is lime as well as minerals and is completely harmless. It is a normal process that separates particles in the tap water. It occurs when tap water is frozen from the outside in. This presses lime and minerals together towards the center. When the water thaws, lime and minerals are heavier than the water and therefore end up at the bottom as larger particles.

If you want to avoid this, we recommend boiling the water before freezing.

Here lime and minerals are boiled out of the water.

Yes, the water bottle is welcome in the dishwasher.

However, it is not the most optimal cleaning method for this water bottle. We refer to question 2 where our recommendations for washing the water bottle are described.

No unfortunately . The bottles cannot withstand being under pressure.
